  1. One photography-related YouTube Channel that I really enjoy –and naturally think that is worth mentioning– is AdoramaTV. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8Pksdbj37CdE00kmE7Z1dw

  2. Top of my list for YouTube educators is Mike Brown. For Micro 4/3 I also like David Thorpe. For Linux Darktable Harry Durgin does amazing work.

  3. I am sorry you did not list Mike Browne-For instructional videos,no one else comes close
He explains his topics in an easy to understand way

I have seen most of the people you have listed, and have most on my favorites list
including your channel-Mikes videos are the only ones when I start watching,I
have to make myself stop before the battery dies on my computer

    Look him up,

    1. Hi Tony and Chelsea,
I totally agree Mike Browne should be on your list. When I upgraded my camera and started getting back into photography a couple of years back I discovered Mike Browne. His very easy to follow instructional videos are excellent. I enjoy watching your videos, and those of Matt Granger and a few others, all very informative and very well done for the most part. However, I am sorry to say, but no one I have come across so far has inspired me as much Mike does to just get out there and take photographs. He just has a knack as an educator. Perhaps he is someone you can try and do an interview with, he comes across as a genuine and very likeable guy.

That said, keep up the good work.
Oh, and on the list of interesting photographers that I would like to see you guys interview, Gerry Ghionis (wedding photographer and inventor of the ice light – have you reviewed it?) and Bambi Cantrell (added Bambi as Siobhan said below there was a lack of lady photographers).

  4. This is fabulous info. Thanks so much!!

  5. you should include this http://seeuniversity.com

  6. Not one woman? Very discouraging.

    1. Unfortunately the industry is seriously unbalanced, there just aren’t many women we’ve come across. Even fewer that aren’t just partnered with a man. Are there any in particular that you follow?

      1. Sue Bryce (http://www.suebryce.com/) seems credible to me, and has many videos on youtube via CreativeLive.

        1. It’s too late to bring this up for the present time (Dec. 29, 2016) since the following people have moved on, but — leaving aside why Chelsea and Tony ignored DigitalRev — four years after DigitalRev began in 2007, Alamby Leungoman joined Kai Man Wong, the main presenter as of late 2009, along with camera man and editor Lok Cheung as of 2010. So, yes, a woman was partnered with two men, but at least DigitalRev’s “classic lineup” included a woman.

          1. FWIW, this list consisted entirely of people we personally knew well enough to vouch for as having real integrity. We don’t personally know the DigitalRev folks, or Sue Bryce (who doesn’t have her own YT channel, BTW) so they weren’t on the list. We hope to get to know them better in the future.

  7. The Phoblographer was a surprise to me to see on this list, they also have a YouTube channel but not many subscribers. There are some truly inspirational content there, interviews with some photographers (called ISO400 series). I have watched their videos even before I came across with Northrups, and I am happy that you guys also consider their work as your fav.
