The T6i is one of our top recommendations for casual photographers. With this generation, Canon finally upgraded the sensor, so the image quality is both sharper and cleaner than the previous generation T5 and T5i. With a full 24 megapixels, you can now achieve similar image quality to the competing Nikon D5500, Sony a6000, and Pentax K-S2. Since you’re reading this guide, you’re probably fairly serious about photography, and should take a look at the T6s/760D. The T6s adds a secondary dial that makes adjusting the exposure compensation easier. It also adds a top LCD display to make checking your settings more convenient. The T6s does a better job of tracking action when recording video, too.
